今回の展覧会は来年6月に開催する「安岡亜蘭展ーstarlightー」のプレエキシビジョン。
作家自身初の試みとなる四神や瑞獣をテーマに展示す るのですが、来年の個展に向けての製作過程をお見せする意欲的な内容となっております。鉛筆画の作品はo号ザイズと小ぶりですが描いたことのないモチーフばかりで苦労したと言う作家の渾身の作を是非御覧くださいませ。

安岡亜蘭
1978年神奈川県生まれ。
東京藝術大学美術学部デザイン科卒業。
動物や植物と機械を組み合わせ、
「過去と未来」を主題に作品を制作する。
自然と人工、生命と機械といった対照的な要素を交差させ、
空想上の生命体を描き出す。
近年は江戸の千代紙に着想を得た和の要素を取り入れ、
独自の世界観を展開している。
Aran Yasuoka
Born in Kanagawa, Japan in 1978.
Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts (Design).
She creates works based on the theme of “past and future,”
combining elements of nature and machinery.
By intersecting contrasts such as organic and artificial,
she depicts imaginary forms of life.
Recently, she has incorporated motifs inspired by Edo-period chiyogami,
developing a distinctive visual world.
