「身近にいる愛らしい動物、食料としての動物、架空の動物など太古から我々の周りに存在する動物たち。
四季彩舎では「♡Animals」と題し毎年東京アートアンティークの期間に合わせ開催しています。
今回は「板垣夏樹、川合香鈴、瀬戸優、マツダケン、松本潤一」5名の作家を紹介します。
平面作品から立体作品など多種多様な表現で活動する作家たちに「動物」という一つのモチーフに統一にて紹介します。
※今展は新型コロナウィルス感染拡大並びに東京都からの外出自粛要請を受け、5月はOnline Exhibitionとして直接ご来店いただけないお客様にもお楽しみいただけるよう、出展作家の作品の一部をSNSやYouTube、online Shop と連動し販売します。

Yu Seto
Yu Seto (b. 1994, Odawara, Kanagawa, Japan) graduated from the Department of Sculpture at Tokyo University of the Arts and completed his MFA in Sculpture at the same university. Drawing on his interest in natural science, he creates sculptures of wild animals, primarily using terracotta. By leaving traces of his touch and the sculpting process visible on their surfaces, Seto explores the structures and movements of living beings and the essence of their existence. In addition to exhibiting in Japan and internationally, his practice extends across disciplines, including collaborations in fashion and design.
