この度四季彩舎では「SASHINOMI」と題し泉東臣、志水堅二の二人展を開催します。
泉東臣は1979年生まれ。2005年に東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科デザイン専攻を修了。
全国の主要百貨店や画廊で個展のほか、2020年にはSeizan Gallery New Yorkで個展を開催しています。
また、イタリアやイギリス、ニューヨークなど海外のフェアにも多数参加している気鋭のアーティストです。
日本を象徴するテーマや伝統的なモチーフ四季折々の花を中心とした植物などの日本画作品、木をパターン化し描く蒼刻シリーズの作品など多彩な作品を発表しています。
志水堅二は1971年生まれ。東京藝術大学大学院大学院デザイン専攻を修了しました。
全国の主要百貨店や画廊で個展のほか、国内外のアートフェアにも多数参加しています。
志水は古いブリキの鳥のおもちゃから生まれたキャラクターを「ブリドリー」と名づけ時間（とき）を表現するアイコンとして多数作品に登場します。
可愛らしいおもちゃの鳥、古代中国で瑞鳥として尊ばれた鳳凰、日本神話で神使として現れる三本足の八咫烏など志水独自の世界観が確立しています。
今回の展示ではSASHI（差し）NOMI（呑み）とコロナ禍において緊急事態宣言が明けた中、二人が好きな酒を交わすような展示をお楽しみいただければ幸いです。

Haruomi Izumi
Haruomi Izumi (b. 1979, Chiba, Japan) received his M.A. in Design from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2005. Working primarily with plants and landscapes, he reinterprets natural forms through refined patterns and geometric structures, expressing a contemporary vision of Japanese aesthetics. Izumi has held numerous solo exhibitions across Japan, including a solo exhibition at Seizan Gallery New York in 2020, and has participated in international art fairs in Italy, the United Kingdom, New York, and elsewhere.
