このたび、瀬戸優の個展を開催いたします。
東京では四季彩舎、京都ではGALLERY35での巡回展となります。
本展では「mother star」と題し、複数の動物を組み合わせた新作彫刻、新作レリーフを中心に約20点の展覧となります。
「これまで動物彫刻を作る上で性差は然程気にしていなかったのですが、 本展ではそこにスポットを当てます。脈々と繋がれていく命には必ず “母”があり、それは普遍的に時を超えて輝くものです。 また新作のレリーフではドローイングの新たな表現に挑戦しております。

Yu Seto
Yu Seto (b. 1994, Odawara, Kanagawa, Japan) graduated from the Department of Sculpture at Tokyo University of the Arts and completed his MFA in Sculpture at the same university. Drawing on his interest in natural science, he creates sculptures of wild animals, primarily using terracotta. By leaving traces of his touch and the sculpting process visible on their surfaces, Seto explores the structures and movements of living beings and the essence of their existence. In addition to exhibiting in Japan and internationally, his practice extends across disciplines, including collaborations in fashion and design.
