四季彩舎では、金丸悠児による個展「ホシノイノチ」を開催いたします。
金丸はこれまで、古代魚や亀など「時間」や「生命」を象徴するモチーフを通して、存在の本質に迫る表現を展開してきました。その中でも立体作品は、2011年の初発表以降、絵画と並行しながら断続的に展開されてきた重要なシリーズのひとつです。
本展では、「ホシノキオク」（2012年）、「ホシノケシキ」（2014年）に続く新たな展開として、生命の象徴として捉えられた動物たちをモチーフとした立体作品約15点を発表いたします。
金丸の立体作品は、絵画の中に描かれてきた存在が現実空間に立ち上がることで、より直接的に鑑賞者と対峙します。それらは単なる造形ではなく、時間の蓄積や記憶の層を内包した存在として提示され、観る者の内側にある感覚や記憶を静かに呼び起こします。
本展は、金丸悠児の制作に通底する「生命の在り方」を、立体表現を通して提示する機会となるでしょう。
SHIKISAISHA Gallery is pleased to present HOSHINO INOCHI, a solo exhibition by Yuji Kanamaru.
Kanamaru has consistently explored fundamental questions of existence through motifs such as ancient fish and turtles—forms that evoke the continuity of time and life. Among his practice, the sculptural works constitute a significant body of work that has developed alongside his paintings since their first presentation in 2011.
In this exhibition, Kanamaru presents approximately 15 sculptural works featuring animals as symbols of life, marking a new development following his earlier series HOSHINO KIOKU (2012) and HOSHINO KESHIKI (2014).
Kanamaru’s sculptures bring into physical space the presences that have previously existed within his paintings. These works are not merely formal objects; they embody layers of accumulated time and memory, quietly resonating with the viewer’s own inner perceptions and experiences.
Through these sculptural expressions, HOSHINO INOCHI offers a multifaceted perspective on the fundamental question that underlies Kanamaru’s practice: the nature of life itself.
