四季彩舎では上野裕二郎の個展「New Scope of Paintings」を開催。これまで中心的に描いてきた生物モチーフを封印し、風景、静物、抽象的要素の強い小作品を通し て、絵画表現の新しい展開を実験的に提示しました。
Yujiro Ueno’s solo exhibition at SHIKISAISHA explored new directions in his painting through landscapes, still lifes and small works with a strong abstract character, setting aside the animal motifs central to his earlier practice.

1996年京都府生まれ。2019年沖縄県立芸術大学卒業、2021年東京藝術大学大学院修士課程修了。実在・非実在の生き物をモチーフに、重層的な筆勢を通して「気」や物質と精神の流れを探求する。2023年、澳門藝術博物館に作品収蔵。2024年、ロイヤルターレンスのアンバサダーに就任。2025年、京都府亀岡市より自治功労者等表彰を受彰。
Born in Kyoto in 1996, Yujiro Ueno graduated from Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts in 2019 and completed a master’s degree at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2021. Through layered brushstrokes and motifs of real and imagined creatures, he explores qi and the flow of matter and spirit. His work entered the collection of the Macao Museum of Art in 2023. He became a Royal Talens ambassador in 2024 and received a civic commendation from Kameoka City, Kyoto, in 2025.
