Shikisaisha will hold a solo exhibition by Nozomu Saito, his first in three years since his solo exhibition in 2020.
Nozomi Saito's works skillfully use tempera and acrylic paint on top of gold leaf to vividly depict realistic plants. A new life is being breathed into it.
The plaster and gold leaf applied to the wooden panels may seem harsh at first. However, the plants drawn with his precise technique bring a soft image to the entire surface, and the rounded corners envelop the work.
