Gekko Numata, “Whale Shark,” 32 × 73 cm
We are pleased to present “Kiseki no Hoshi,” a solo exhibition by Gekko Numata.
Taking living creatures as his subjects, the artist eliminates extraneous elements wherever possible, using a simple approach to convey each animal’s distinctive appeal.
Alongside sea creatures, the exhibition includes early large-scale works of approximately size 80.
