細井世思子展「音楽家は森を歩く」
このたび四季彩舎では細井世思子の個展を開催します。
細井の作品は一見すると、メルヘンチックな印象ですが、鉛筆で紙を傷つけるようにして、徹底して緻密に描かれたマチエールにより、どこか少量の毒気を感じます。
今展では作品に多く登場する「羊」「ゾウ」など動物をモチーフにした作品に加え、
抽象的な作品にもチャレンジしています。
また、 今展の「音楽家は森を歩く」をイメージした映像作品にも挑戦しています。

SHIKISAISHA presents a solo exhibition by Yoshiko Hosoi.
At first glance, Hosoi's works evoke a fairy-tale world. Yet the meticulously detailed textures, created by working the pencil almost as though scoring the paper, carry a subtle sting.
Alongside works featuring animals such as the sheep and elephants that often appear in her work, this exhibition introduces her explorations of abstraction.
She also ventures into video, with a work inspired by the exhibition title, “The Musician Walks through the Forest.”
