Mayuno Kobayashi Born in Aichi in 1993. Completed her MFA at Joshibi University of Art and Design. Working with techniques rooted in Nihonga. Her practice translates ambiguous and fluid images—derived from everyday life, memory, and emotional states—into animals and imaginary beings. Often depicted as humorous characters, these figures reflect human emotions and concerns, revealing the artist’s inner world.

Yu Seto Born in Odawara, Kanagawa in 1994. Completed his MFA at Tokyo University of the Arts. His work is grounded in an inquiry into natural science, focusing on sculptural representations of wild animals. Working primarily with terracotta, he emphasizes tactile qualities and the traces of the hand, creating dynamic and expressive forms. His sculptures convey a strong sense of vitality and presence, evoking a physical and immediate response in the viewer.
