この度、Artglorieux GALLERY OF TOKYOにて小林繭乃と三平硝子による二人展「Monster：モンスター」を開催いたします。
日本画の技法を用いる小林繭乃は、日常の中で生まれる感情や記憶、思考の揺らぎといった内面世界を、動物や化け物の姿として描き出します。画面には、繊細さと不穏さが共存する独自の世界観が広がります。
一方、三平硝子は、生活の中での体験や社会現象、個人的な感情をモンスターとして再構築し、ボロシリケイトガラスを用いたバーナーワーク技法による立体作品として表現します。高温の炎の中で形づくられるガラス作品は、透明感と緊張感を併せ持ち、観る者に強い印象を与えます。
本展では、それぞれの新作に加え、両作家によるコラボレーション作品も発表いたします。平面と立体、日本画とガラスという異なる素材と技法が交差することで生まれる、新たな「モンスター」の表現にもご注目ください。
また、展覧会に先立ち、2026年2月12日（木）から2月25日（水）まで、GINZA SIX 1階ショーウィンドウにて、両作家の作品を展示いたします。

We are pleased to present Monster, a two-person exhibition by Mayuno Kobayashi and Shoko Mihira at Artglorieux GALLERY OF TOKYO.
Working in the tradition of Nihonga, Mayuno Kobayashi visualizes inner states—emotions, memories, and fluctuations of thought that arise in everyday life—through the forms of animals and supernatural beings. Her works unfold a distinctive pictorial world where delicacy and unease coexist.
Shoko Mihira, on the other hand, reconstructs personal experiences, social phenomena, and emotional responses into “monsters,” expressed as three-dimensional works using borosilicate glass and burner-work techniques. Formed in intense heat, her glass sculptures embody both transparency and tension, leaving a powerful impression on the viewer.
In addition to new works by each artist, the exhibition will also feature collaborative pieces created by the two. Through the intersection of painting and sculpture, Nihonga and glass, the exhibition presents new interpretations of the “monster” motif.
Prior to the exhibition, works by both artists will be on view in the window display on the first floor of GINZA SIX from February 12 (Thu) to February 25 (Wed), 2026.
