四季彩舎は本年、創業30周年を迎えます。この節目の年に、1996年の創業当初よりご紹介してきた髙塚省吾の個展を開催いたします。
透明感あふれる裸婦像を描き、美人画の第一人者として高い評価を受け た髙塚省吾。その清楚で気品に満ちた人物表現は、没後なお多くの人々を魅了し続けています。
2007年に惜しまれながら逝去した髙塚省吾は、来年2027年に没後20年を迎えます。
本展では、代表的な裸婦の油彩作品をはじめ、繊細な魅力を湛えたパステル画、さらには晩年に描かれながら未完となった貴重な作品や初期作品まで、幅広い制作の軌跡をご紹介いたします。
創業以来、深いご縁をいただいてきた作家の画業をあらためて振り返る機会となります。ぜひご高覧くださいますようご案内申し上げます。
SHIKISAISHA GALLERY celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. To mark this milestone, we are pleased to present a solo exhibition of works by Shogo Takatsuka, an artist whom we have exhibited since the gallery’s founding in 1996.
Widely acclaimed as a leading master of bijinga (paintings of beautiful women), Takatsuka is particularly renowned for his luminous depictions of the female figure. His refined and graceful portrayals continue to captivate audiences even today.
Takatsuka passed away in 2007, and 2027 will mark the 20th anniversary of his death.
This exhibition brings together a diverse selection of works spanning the artist’s career, including his celebrated oil paintings of female nudes, delicate pastel works, early pieces, and rare unfinished paintings from his final years.
As an artist with whom the gallery has shared a longstanding and meaningful relationship, this exhibition offers an opportunity to revisit and appreciate the breadth of Takatsuka’s artistic legacy. We warmly invite you to visit and enjoy the exhibition.
