角谷紀章 韓国・LEE & BAEにて個展「After the View」を開催中

角谷紀章の個展 「After the View」 が、韓国・釜山の現代アートギャラリー LEE & BAE にて開催されています。
本展では、角谷が一貫して探求してきた「記憶と風景」をテーマにした新作を発表しています。スマートフォンで撮影した風景写真に偶然生まれるブレやにじみを手がかりに、曖昧な輪郭や揺らぐ光を丁寧に描き出すことで、記憶の中にある風景の不確かさや、その奥に残る感覚を静かに浮かび上がらせます。
作品は特定の場所や時間を描写するものではなく、鑑賞者それぞれの記憶や経験と重なり合うことで、新たな風景として立ち現れます。見るという行為と記憶との関係を問いかける角谷の絵画は、日常の何気ない瞬間に潜む美しさや時間の積層を繊細に映し出しています。

SHIKISAISHA is pleased to announce that gallery artist Noriaki Sumiya is currently presenting his solo exhibition, After the View, at LEE & BAE in Busan, South Korea.
In this exhibition, Sumiya presents a new body of work that continues his long-standing exploration of memory and landscape. Drawing inspiration from the subtle blur and distortion captured in smartphone photographs, his paintings evoke the ambiguity of remembered places, delicately rendering shifting light, softened contours, and the fleeting sensations that remain long after a moment has passed.
Rather than depicting specific locations or moments in time, Sumiya's works invite viewers to connect their own memories and experiences with the images before them, allowing each landscape to emerge through personal perception. His paintings quietly reflect on the relationship between seeing and remembering, revealing the beauty and layered passage of time embedded within everyday scenes.
This exhibition marks another important opportunity to introduce Sumiya's distinctive artistic practice to an international audience. Visitors in Busan are warmly invited to experience the exhibition.
