ミズテツオ Tetsuo Mizu
1980年代に「フラッグ・シリーズ」により注目を集めた画家。
国際信号旗を組み合わせた独自の構成によって、
記号性と抽象表現を融合させた作品を展開した。
イタリア、フランス、スペインを拠点に活動し、
欧州を中心に高い評価を得る。
極細のラインによって構成された画面は、
マットで量感のある質感を持ち、
現代抽象でありながら浮世絵的要素も指摘されている。
Tetsuo Mizu
A painter who gained recognition in the 1980s with his “Flag Series.”
By combining international maritime signal flags,
he developed a unique visual language that merges symbolic systems with abstraction.
Based in Italy, France, and Spain,
he exhibited widely and received critical acclaim in Europe.
His works are characterized by finely structured compositions,
with matte, volumetric surfaces that have been noted for their affinity with ukiyo-e.
瀬戸優 Yu Seto
瀬戸優（1994年 神奈川県小田原市生まれ）は、東京藝術大学美術学部彫刻科を卒業後、同大学大学院美術研究科修士課程彫刻専攻を修了。
自然科学への関心を基盤に、主にテラコッタを用いて野生動物を主題とした彫刻作品を制作している。
作家の触覚や制作の軌跡を表面に残すことで、生命の構造や動き、存在の本質を捉えようと試みている。
国内外で作品を発表するほか、ファッションやデザインなど領域を横断した活動も展開している。
Yu Seto (b. 1994, Odawara, Kanagawa, Japan) graduated from the Department of Sculpture at Tokyo University of the Arts and completed his MFA in Sculpture at the same university. Drawing on his interest in natural science, he creates sculptures of wild animals, primarily using terracotta. By leaving traces of his touch and the sculpting process visible on their surfaces, Seto explores the structures and movements of living beings and the essence of their existence. In addition to exhibiting in Japan and internationally, his practice extends across disciplines, including collaborations in fashion and design.
