山本靖久は、「豊かさ」を主題として、現代社会における人と自然の関わりを静かに問い続けている。

物質的・情報的な過剰さが支配する時代にあって、彼が描く人間や動物、花、山、水といったモチーフは、精神的にも肉体的にも満たされていたであろう原初の風景を象徴する。

それらの形象はふくよかで丸みを帯び、生命の充足と調和を湛えながら、私たちが見失いつつある「豊かさ」の本質を映し出す。

カゼインテンペラ、アクリル、墨などの水溶性絵具を用い、キャンバスや板、麻紙の上に描かれる画面は、偶然性や即興性を重んじた「日本人の絵画空間」の探求そのものでもある。

絵肌に宿る手触りや、にじみ、かすれといった痕跡が柔らかな時間を生み、観る者の感覚をゆるやかに解きほぐしていく。

Yasuhisa Yamamoto quietly continues to explore the relationship between human beings and nature, taking “abundance” as his central theme.

In an age dominated by material and informational excess, the figures he paints—humans, animals, flowers, mountains, and water—symbolize a primordial landscape in which both body and spirit were once fulfilled.

These rounded, full forms embody a sense of vitality and harmony, reflecting the essence of “abundance” that modern society has gradually lost sight of.

Working with water-based media such as casein tempera, acrylic, and sumi ink on canvas, board, or hemp paper, Yamamoto’s paintings represent a pursuit of a uniquely “Japanese pictorial space,” one that values chance, spontaneity, and flatness.

The tactile quality of the painted surface—its textures, stains, and subtle blurs—creates a gentle flow of time, gradually loosening the viewer’s perception and inviting a moment of quiet reflection.
